 Great news from Garmin!!!!

Garmin will be announcing a completely redesigned GPS dog tracking collar for use with their Astro System.

This new collar (DC-30) is more rugged, lighter-weight, and its antennas are positioned for optimal tracking. It will also no longer require the use of a counter-balance or harness. What's more, it's completely compatible with the original Astro system.

The new DC-30 collars will be available later this summer (expected end of  August), but you are welcome to pre-order at any time (please just be sure to specify that you are ordering the new DC-30 unit and not the current DC-20 model).


Attached are pictures of the new unit as well as a picture of a soon-to-be-available portable long-range antenna. This antenna will be an optional accessory (also available later this summer) which will allow users to extend the range of their receiver by up to 3 miles.
